A public hearing regarding the installation “smart” Linky meters will be held at the Privas court on Thursday, July 7, at 9 a.m. in the context of the dispute between the users of the public electric distribution service and Enedis, the manager, of the network.
These people should be able to facilitate discussions on the social challenges associated with smart meters. In a collective action by Stop Linky 5G07, 177 Ardeche residents oppose Enedis’ deployment program for Linky meters and their installation without their consent.
There are 19 courts and 12 departments in the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region. They claim that the Stop Linky collectives’ work on the ground and mobilization made it possible to bring together almost 2,000 people through interregional coordination with their defendant Maitre Edouard Raffin (a Lyon lawyer, as well as master Guillaume Reininger, of the Privas bar).
To attend the hearing, a carpool will be organized from the Garden Center Chambouleyron at Saint-Privat on Thursday, 7:50 a.m.
