Saxony: man crashes into a ditch with an e-bike: fatally injured

Döbeln (dpa/sn) – A cyclist had an accident with his e-bike in Zschaitz-Ottewig north of Döbeln (Middle Saxony district). For reasons that are not yet known, the 66-year-old came off the right side of the road with his bike on Tuesday afternoon and fell into a ditch, the police said on Wednesday. The man suffered serious injuries and died at the scene of the accident. The police are investigating.
