The Belgian Crown Princess Elisabeth trains her leadership skills in a multi-week boot camp at the Royal Military School. The aim of the camp is to practice and expand skills that have already been learned, as the royal family announced in Brussels. The field exercises also put the resilience of the 20-year-old to the test.

The palace published photos on Wednesday showing the princess in camouflage clothing and with a weapon. Elisabeth is the eldest child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. She would be the first reigning queen of Belgium and has three younger siblings.

The Crown Princess graduated from school in Wales in 2020. This was followed by a year of training at the Royal Military Academy in Belgium. At the beginning of October last year, she began studying at the University of Oxford in England. She studies history and politics.
