All the autonomous communities, with the exception of the Canary Islands, are on yellow alert this Friday with the risk of strong storms and rain with hail, which can accumulate up to 40 liters per square meter in one hour on time in a large part of the interior of the Valencian Community.

The rest of the country will go on yellow alert from 12 noon, according to the latest data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), on its website.

Although in the Valencian Community rainfall in general will be up to 20 liters per square meter with the possibility of hail, occasionally it could reach 40 liters in an hour in much of the interior of the region.

In Catalonia, except in coastal areas, rains of 20 liters per square meter in one hour are also expected throughout the community -with the exception of Tarragona- along with hail; in the two provinces of Extremadura the rainfall will also be of the same intensity.

In Andalusia, rains of 20 liters per square meter are expected in one hour within the entire community, and in Aragón, 15 liters per square meter will accumulate in one hour in a large part of the region with the possibility of hail.

Also in Madrid the rainfall will be strong with the possibility of hail; up to 15 liters per square meter in one hour, not only in the mountains, but throughout the community.

In the interior of Asturias, 15 liters per square meter will also be collected in one hour, and in the Balearic Islands the accumulations will reach 25 liters per square meter in one hour.

In Cantabria, rainfall will accumulate 15 liters per square meter in one hour within the community and will also be of the same intensity in Galicia, the Basque Country and Navarra.

In Castilla y León, except for Zamora and León, the rest of the provinces will collect up to 20 liters per square meter in one hour, as will the region of Murcia and La Rioja.

In Castilla-La Mancha the rains will be 15 liters per square meter in one hour throughout the community, with the possibility of hail.

The temperatures will change little. It will be hotter in Bilbao, Córdoba, Lleida, Seville and Zaragoza (28 degrees), and Badajoz and Girona (27), while it will soften especially in Ávila (20) and A Coruña, Salamanca, Segovia and Soria (21).

Finally, this Friday winds from the east will predominate in the Mediterranean area, and from the northwest in the Canary Islands, while variable light winds will blow in the rest of the country.
