Cranford Wrestling Secures Second Consecutive N2G3 Title with Dominant Performance

In a thrilling display of athleticism and determination, the Cranford High School wrestling team secured their second consecutive NJSIAA/IBEW Local 102 North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 championship with a resounding 47-20 victory over South Plainfield. The match, held in Cranford, NJ, showcased the Cougars’ prowess on the mat as they dominated their opponents from start to finish.

The evening kicked off with Cranford taking an early lead by winning the first five bouts, setting the tone for the rest of the competition. Joey Acinapura, Jake Ulicki, and Louis Kruk delivered impressive performances, securing crucial points for the team. The momentum continued as DJ Torsone and Michael Daly added to the lead with their own victories, putting Cranford ahead 23-0.
