The storm Domingos has taken the baton of the storm Ciarán and today, Saturday, keeps all of Spain on alert, except for the Canary Islands, due to coastal phenomena, wind or rain, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

A storm that has already left several incidents on the Peninsula. In León, a 47-year-old man has been injured after being hit by the wiring of Christmas lights installed at the confluence of Anta Street with the capital’s Plaza de la Regla, detached due to strong gusts of wind.

While in Galicia, winds of more than 150 km/h and intense rainfall are being recorded, with more than a hundred incidents in the last few hours.

Specifically, in Andalusia there will be an orange warning for waves and Almería will be under a yellow warning for wind, Almería will be under a yellow warning for wind and waves and Málaga will be under a yellow warning for waves, while in Aragon the province of Huesca will be under a yellow warning for waves. rains and those of Teruel and Zaragoza in yellow warning due to wind.

In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals are expected in the north, without ruling out isolated weak rainfall on the mountainous islands.

This Saturday the snow level in the Pyrenees will be 1,400/1,600 meters with a tendency to rise, and falling again at the last minute to 1,600/1,800 meters, with the possibility of accumulating more than 5 centimeters. With a low probability of snow, in the Cantabrian and northern Iberian regions, the levels will decrease to 1,400/1,800 meters.

Temperatures will increase practically across the board, reaching notable increases in the eastern Cantabrian Sea and except in the southeast of the peninsula and the Canary Islands where they will tend to decrease slightly. Frosts are expected in the Pyrenees.

The intense winds from the west and southwest will continue blowing in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands; and strong intervals with very strong gusts are expected in large areas of the northwest quadrant, center, interior of the eastern third and coasts, as well as on the islands.

The winds will be especially intense in the north of Galicia and the Cantabrian Sea, reaching very strong winds, while in the Canary Islands a moderate north wind will blow.
