Dr. Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt, the big boss at Suasion Communications Group, snagged the 2025 Harvey Kesselman Alumni Impact Award from Stockton University on May 20. This award goes out to alumni who go above and beyond to make Stockton University or the community at large a better place. Susan will be officially honored at the Alumni Achievement Awards Reception on June 5 at Stockton University.
Ever since she kicked off Suasion back in 2007, Adelizzi-Schmidt has been killin’ it as the head honcho, leading the charge from their headquarters in Somers Point to their spot in Haddonfield. Suasion, a lady-led small business, has been holdin’ it down on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Full-Service Marketing Agency List for a solid eight years straight.
Aside from her work grind, Adelizzi-Schmidt has been putting in work as an adjunct faculty member at Stockton University School of Business for over ten years. She’s been sharing her marketing magic in the classroom and serving as a mentor to her students. Not only that, she’s been a OG member/mentor in the Stockton University Women’s Leadership Council (SWLC) since it started up in 2018. Recently, she scooped up the 2025 SWLC Impact Mentor Award for being a mentor who really made a difference in the lives of her mentees. On top of all that, she’s also serving on the Stockton School of Business Dean’s Executive Advisory Board, the Stockton School of Education Organizational Leadership LEAD Doctoral Program Advisory Board, and the Stockton University School of Business Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.
To add to her collection of degrees, Adelizzi-Schmidt recently snagged an Ed.D. (Summa Cum Laude) in Organizational Leadership from Stockton University, where she also grabbed her MBA. And let’s not forget about her dual degree in English and Communications (BA) from Arcadia University. This lady is all about that academic excellence.
