Has anyone tampered with Lisa Marie Presley’s will? The deceased’s mother, Priscilla Presley, apparently has her doubts about the “authenticity and validity” of the document. Accordingly, among other things, the signature does not match that of her daughter.
Priscilla Presley appears to be contesting her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s will. On Thursday, Elvis Presley’s ex-wife reportedly filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court challenging an “alleged amendment” to the will.
According to the documents, which are said to be available to “Page Six”, Priscilla Presley has questioned the “authenticity and validity” of the will. In her application, she apparently challenges a change from 2016. This apparently removed the deceased’s ex-manager Barry Siegel and Priscilla Presley from the trust and replaced them as administrators with Lisa Marie Presley’s eldest children Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough. Since Benjamin took his own life in 2020 at age 27, 33-year-old Riley would be the sole administrator.
According to the report, Priscilla Presley is said to explain that she was first named co-trustee with Lisa Marie’s former manager back in 1993. Her daughter therefore filled out “a revocable trust agreement during her lifetime”, which she reformulated again in 2010. After that there was apparently a change that is dated 2016.
Priscilla Presley is said to claim in the documents that her daughter’s signature on the 2016 document “does not match her usual and usual signature”, apparently even the name was misspelled. In addition, the documents were not notarized and the 77-year-old was never informed of the change.
Lisa Marie Presley was the only child of Priscilla Presley and rock ‘n’ roll icon Elvis Presley, who were married for six years before divorcing in 1973. Lisa Marie Presley died of cardiac arrest on January 12 at the age of 54. On January 23, she was buried at the legendary family home, Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee. In addition to Riley and Benjamin Keough, Lisa Marie Presley also gave birth to 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper Lockwood.
