The Pasapalabra contest continues to cross the summer season at cruising speed, with an audience that does not fail even on vacation. Part of the success of the Antena 3 program lies in the celebrities who come to the set to help the contestants. Now it is the turn of Beatriz Rico, Daniel Huarte, Carlos Marco and Ivonne Reyes. Let’s get to know this last guest a little better.

Ivonne Reyes is an icon of Spanish television from the 90s and early 2000s. Although time passes, few have forgotten her voice, her laughter and her beauty.

Born in Valencia (Venezuela) 55 years ago, Reyes came to Madrid from Caracas in 1990. At that time, she had played extra roles in soap operas such as Cristal or Abigail, two television phenomena of the time and, in fact, her time in Spain was part of the promotional tour of soap operas. On that trip, she decided to try to make a career in this country.

And the chains did not take long to open the doors to that young woman who in 1987 had achieved third place in the Miss Confraternidad Suramericana beauty contest. In 1991, Ivonne made her debut as a hostess for El precio justo, the popular program presented by Joaquín Prat. All for pasta, The battle of the stars, Great party or The great game of the goose were other projects in which the Venezuelan exhibited successfully.

Without leaving the small screen and at the same time that she continued with work as a model, the actress obtained sporadic roles in series such as Hermanos de leche, Hostal Royal Manzanares or, more recently, Ladies of (h)AMPA.

Films like The Salt of Life (1996), Solitary Boy (1999) or Los pájaros se va con la muerte (2011) can be rescued from his film career. She has also made her first steps in theater, highlighting her role as Sandy in the adaptation of the musical Grease (Greasemanía Live, 1999/2001).

The presenter returned to television in 2017, this time as a contestant on Big Brother VIP, being the eighth contestant expelled from the reality show.

Ivonne Reyes also captured the attention of the media due to the controversy with the presenter Pepe Navarro, with whom she had a long judicial fight for the paternity of her son Alejandro.

Ever since Reyes appeared naked on the covers of Interviú and Man in September 1999 to announce her pregnancy, everyone has wondered who the father was and all eyes have been on Navarro like a sword of Damocles. Both had coincided in the Game of the Goose and in Tonight we crossed the Mississippi.

The journalist has always denied being the father and refused to take any test to prove the matter, but the court agreed with the model and Navarro is legally the father. Despite what the sentence says, the fight continues, since he insists that the model and actress lied during the trial.
