Eligibility for appearing in the JEE (Main) Examination

If you passed the class 12th or equivalent examination in one of the preceding two years of the year in which the JEE (Main) is being held, or if you appeared in the class 12th or similar examination in the year in which the JEE (Main) is being held, you will be eligible.

Eligibility for appearing in the JEE (Advanced) Examination

The minimum eligibility requirement for JEE (Advanced) is that you must have passed the final class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised Board of education with at least 75 per cent aggregate marks (65 percent for SC/ST/PwD) or be in the top 20% of candidates who have passed the Class 12th Board examination from the same Board.
