The last full week of February will be characterized by a significant change in weather -from an early spring, with highs above 20 degrees, to an environment of mid-winter and snow- which, starting on Wednesday, will affect many areas the interior and north of the country.
During the second half of the week, “the snowfall and frost will return to inland areas and at low levels,” said Rubén Del Campo, spokesman for Aemet, who explains that this change in weather is due to the presence of an anticyclone in the North Atlantic that will favor the arrival of very cold winds from Wednesday.
