So, like, this week in Broomfield, the animal control team got called out to deal with this massive bee swarm in a tree, which apparently was like, the biggest one they’ve ever seen. The police department was all, “Whoa, this is crazy!” According to some post on X, the animal services officers teamed up with a local beekeeper to, like, safely round up and move the swarm somewhere else. If you happen to stumble upon a bee swarm, the department was all, “Hey, give us a ring at 303-438-6400.” But if it’s wasps you’re dealing with, then you should totally hit up a licensed pest control service, according to the department. I’m not really sure why this matters, but hey, now you know what to do if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation with bees or wasps. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this is some pretty important info to have on hand.
