In a thrilling match-up, Holy Angels emerged victorious over River Dell with a score of 13-12. The game was truly a nail-biter, as Holy Angels led 12-10 at the end of the third quarter and managed to hold on in the fourth quarter for the win. Jane Tenaglia was the star player of the game, scoring six goals and providing four assists. Not to be outdone, Rose Dooley contributed four goals, and Emily Vonderhorst scored three times. On the opposing team, Mia Kurtz led River Dell with three goals and two assists.
Following their impressive win, Holy Angels (11-7) extended their winning streak to three games and are gearing up to host Old Tappan on Tuesday. On the other hand, River Dell (6-8) will be hosting West Milford on Friday. With the season heating up, both teams are determined to give it their all in the upcoming games. It’s clear that the players are leaving everything on the field and giving spectators an exciting show to watch.
Not really sure why this matters, but it seems like Holy Angels is on a roll with their winning streak. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s always exciting to see the underdogs come out on top in these games.
