Agents of the Aragon Police Headquarters have arrested a 51-year-old man in Zaragoza as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of attempted murder, ill-treatment, illegal possession of weapons, illegal detention, injuries and serious threats.
The detainee, Marian V., a Romanian national, tried to kidnap his ex-wife, G.V., 47, assaulting her and threatening her with a gun, as well as shooting her current partner while trying to help her.
They are in the process of separating after more than 30 years of marriage.
After being handed over to the Zaragoza Court for Violence against Women 3, the man, who had previously been denounced for ill-treatment and had complied with a restraining order, has entered prison.
As reported by the Police this Saturday, the events occurred at 9:15 a.m. last Tuesday, when they received several calls warning that an individual was trying to taking a woman by force, he would have fired a firearm at another man who was trying to stop him.
One of the victims indicated to the agents who had gone to the place that minutes before they had left their home with their partner, she went down to the garage for a moment to get a pair of glasses from the car and he went directly to the street where he had parked his vehicle and where they had been left. in meeting and leaving together.
She added that, upon reaching the ground floor, she realized that her partner’s ex-husband was inside the premises waiting.
He immediately suspected that his intention was to attack his partner, since he had previously been denounced by her for mistreatment.
Then he ran to warn his wife, getting ahead of the ex-husband who, after locating her, began to shake her and hit her in different parts of her body.
At the moment he reached her height to try to help her, the individual pulled out a pistol and fired a direct shot at her, not being hit and managing to quickly leave the garage to ask for help.
Meanwhile, the assailant continued to beat the victim, forcibly taking her out of the garage, even dragging her, while threatening her with the gun to her head.
His intention was to put her in his vehicle, which he had parked a few meters away, and take her from the place.
According to the aforementioned sources, the people who had gone out into the street when they heard the screams and the detonation, began to rebuke and confront the assailant, who went so far as to point a gun at one of them, and after being intimidated, he finally released the woman and fled. of the place on board your car.
A few hours later, the alleged perpetrator was located and arrested, and was later transferred to police stations.
Likewise, agents from the Homicide Group and the Scientific Police searched the detainee’s home, where they found some sentences written on one of the doors of the house, including “G. is unique, God knew this, G. is mine.” .
They were addressed to the victim and, according to the Police, revealed the level of obsession and possession that the attacker had for his ex-wife.
The detainee, who had several police records and who had previously been denounced for ill-treatment by his ex-partner, was placed at the disposal of the Court of Violence against Women number 3 on duty, who, after hearing him in a statement, ordered his pretrial detention without bail.
