Antena 3 continues to dominate television afternoons in Spain during the autumn campaign. They have a winning team from Monday to Friday with Pasapalabra as the main captain. It dominates the time slot before the news without serious competition despite TVE’s latest bets.
This Tuesday, the Sevillian presenter Roberto Leal added more than 2 million viewers and a 19.3% screen share to his contest.
In total 4.3 million unique viewers. It was the second most watched program of the season.
Starting this Wednesday, the contest has new guests. Joining the program on this occasion: Desiré Cordero, Irene Villa and Pablo Carbonell.
The Antena 3 program welcomes model Desiré Cordero for the second time in 2023, although she already attended several times as a guest when Pasapalabra was broadcast on Telecinco. The 29-year-old model from Seville rose to fame in 2014 when she won the title of Miss Universe Spain, being the successor of Patricia Yurena Rodríguez.
This coronation earned her the opportunity to participate in Miss Universe 2015, a beauty contest in which she dressed as Isabel la Católica; she managed to enter the top 10, ranking in sixth place. Since then, Cordero’s career has been meteoric, walking for brands such as Victoria’s Secret and posing for Spanish and international publications, such as Harper’s Bazaar.
With a large legion of followers on social networks, with 300,000 on Instagram alone, Desiré Cordero is an influencer who poses for different fashion and cosmetic brands. However, one of the most viral images of her occurred in May 2018 during the Seville flag oath, an event organized by the Land Force Headquarters. The writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte saw an image of the model at the ceremony and did not hesitate to upload it to Twitter with the following message: “This way she becomes any patriot.”
