Anna Ermakova and Philipp Boy dance worthy of the final, “Knossi” has gotten the best out of his “corpse body” and Llambi is scratching sensitive egos again. Everything about the second show, which for many – not only musically – is a journey into the past.

“I have to be honest,” says Motsi: “It’s week two and I’ve never seen such beautiful feet and such beautiful footwork.” The audience celebrates Anna frenetically, the judges jump from their chairs, cheers. “My goodness, can the woman dance! It’s in a completely different league!”

As in the previous weeks, Anna has to stay until the end of the show to dance with Valentin. On the agenda this week: Cha Cha Cha. Anna says she would like to take people to a club with Madonna’s music. Instead, she torches not only the dance floor, but the whole hut. If this continues, she will soon hold the trophy in her hands. However, according to Anna, the pressure is great. She doesn’t want to think too much about it and just “just have fun”.

Motto of the second show: “Born in”. The celebrities dance to a song from the year they were born and take a deep look into their soul and their past. Anna Ermakova, born in 2000, talks about her “Babushka” who always counted the press in front of the house. As a small child, it was “normal” for her to be followed by paparazzi until she realized: “It’s not normal.”

We learn from TV chef Ali Güngörmüs, who was born in Anatolia in 1976, that he grew up on a farm without electricity and only saw his father, who worked in Germany, once a year. Joker Abdelkarim’s parents failed to enroll their son in kindergarten and social media star Younes Zarou coyly recounts growing up in a family where showing emotions was considered “a kind of weakness”.

In addition to Ermakova, the former professional gymnast Philipp Boy was one of the evening’s winners. He, too, has his very own baggage to carry. He spent his entire childhood training for one moment – ??the Olympics. And then an injury shatters all dreams.

It is also the second show for the athlete born in 1987. But when you see his “sensational jive”, which seems so easygoing and easy, you think that Philipp Boy has done nothing else in his life than shake a leg. So much control in the body, so much quality in such a short time. The bar is very high with 29 points, just like Anna’s.

Meanwhile, Julia Beautx has a “mega opening” with a Cha Cha Cha to “Let’s Get Loud” by J.Lo. For Motsi, the actress born in 1999 shines from within and Jorge is enthusiastic about her hips and her “refreshing nature”. Thanks to Let’s Dance, the 23-year-old can show a whole new side of herself. Because actually, according to Julia, she was more the “sweatpants village girl” to date.

“Knossi” is someone who proves that hard training definitely pays off. The joker really got everything out of his “corpse body” and the beauty: the blond boy, born in 1986, who his mother always hid in the stroller because of his face, takes the show seriously and improves every week. With a rhythmic jive, the man, who really is only 36″ and not yet 50″, scores well. So much energy and joie de vivre! Knossi is just bubbling over with happiness. Dear viewers: “Take a dance class!” The ladies should be brave and wear high heels.

Not like Natalia Yegorova, who presented a “sexy rumba” with her partner Andrzej Cibis, but was “a bit too high” for Llambi. Born in Ukraine in 1974, she inspires with her “feminine look”. There is also praise for the hard training and for doing her “homework” so well and even taking it to bed with her.

And sometimes you just have to sleep on it one night to better process some negative criticism. For example, Timon Krause says that Llambi’s harsh words on Show 1 “scratched the ego hard”. The jury boss accused the actually “very warm but introverted” 28-year-old of a certain coldness. But with a Cha Cha Cha, the mentalist, as Llambi thinks, finally gets one out this week. No wonder: his dance partner Ekat “served” him extremely for the number.

In almost every show there are major discrepancies in the jury’s verdicts. While Motsi and Jorge are often “emotionally touched”, Llambi often only sees a single “mess”. Of course, that doesn’t apply to the handball player Mimi Kraus, who doesn’t allow himself to be inhibited by his fear and is praised for his “top attitude”, just as it doesn’t apply to Sharon Battiste. The actress is having a tough time this week. Dance partner Christian Polanc has pinched his nerve and has to pause. This doesn’t detract from her contemporary, for which she has none other than Alexandru Ionel, world champion in ShowDance Standard, at her side.

Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to comedian Abdelkarim after the second show. Considering he really can’t dance, it was always fun to watch him do it.
