The minister of the ecological Transition Elizabeth Terminal has promised on Friday that the SNCF would be supported by the State to help it overcome the crisis of the sars coronavirus.

“The SNCF has also suffered huge financial difficulties because of the crisis, its traffic has fallen very low (…) of course we will also help SNCF to overcome this crisis,” said Elizabeth Terminal at the microphone of France Info.
The boss of the SNCF, Jean-Pierre Farandou, was estimated at 4 billion euros, the loss of revenue linked to the health crisis, and has called to the aid of the State, which has already supported Air France by means of loans and guarantees totaling $ 7 billion.

The minister of the public Accounts Gérald Darmanin has already indicated on Monday that the State would make a “gesture” financial to the SNCF to help cope with the loss of revenue due to the crisis.
