The publicly held cheating scandal surrounding Iris and Peter Klein is entering the next round. Because the Katzenberger mother is firmly convinced that her husband has been flirting with Yvonne Wolke for some time. Son-in-law Lucas Cordalis tries to limit the damage.
The jungle camp is over, the Fremdgeh scandal continues. Because for Iris Klein it is still clear: Between her husband Peter and the actress Yvonne Woelke, there was a dalliance behind the jungle scenes. But that’s not all. Daniela Katzenberger’s mother also believes she knows that the two have been flirting with each other for a long time.
Everything germinated a year ago. Even then, Peter Klein had traveled to Australia to support his son-in-law Lucas Cordalis. However, his entry into the camp fell through due to a corona infection. Yvonne Woelke was also Down Under at the time – accompanying jungle participant Janina Youssefian. At that time, the two had already exchanged cell phone numbers, says Iris Klein to RTL.
“Peter has always been secretly writing in the toilet for a year. I never knew with whom! He always flinched and quickly put the phone down when I came into the room,” reveals Iris Klein. When her husband met Yvonne Woelke again the following year, who this time accompanied Djamila Rowe, the 55-year-old put one and one together.
“I’m disappointed in my husband for lying to me every day and for being with this woman over and over again. He also said he didn’t know her!” An outright lie, believes Iris Klein. “I’ve Facetimed him several times over the past few days and she’s always been there.” Serious allegations that should further burden the already shattered relationship between the Klein couple. “I lost my trust, caught him lying far too often.”
Iris Klein has since left the shared domicile in Mallorca. She is currently finding shelter with daughter Jenny Frankhauser. “I feel shitty,” says Iris Klein to RTL. “I’m in Jenny’s guest room right now, thinking about how to proceed.” It seems as if the disappointed Katzenberger mom had little hope of a happy ending to the story. On her private Instagram account, she also writes: “My decision has been made and I will get a divorce because I no longer want to live with a lying man.”
Meanwhile, son-in-law Lucas Cordalis wants to try to straighten the more than crooked house blessing. The third-placed jungle camp only found out about the foreign affair after leaving the final. The moderators Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen had repeatedly alluded to it, but left the 55-year-old in the dark about the background.
“I was very shocked when I first heard about it,” says Lucas Cordalis of the “Bild” newspaper. Out of the jungle I first had a phone call with father-in-law Peter Klein, who vehemently denied the allegations. Not an easy situation for the self-declared harmonious person.
“I hope things will calm down again. I love my in-laws,” he says – and has already come up with a plan. “I will organize an emergency meeting in Mallorca so that all ambiguities can be cleared up.” It could be the last chance to prevent the Kleins from separating after 17 years of marriage.
