When César Muñoz was called to tell him that he was the one chosen to present the substitute for Sálvame -Así es la vida- from his mouth came a “hosts!” that must have been heard throughout the Extremadura Channel, where he was about to start his program, Dos de tarde. The first person he called is his mother, a few weeks have passed and today one of the bets for the summer finally starts with Sandra Barneda: nothing more and nothing less than the program that will replace Sálvame.
Neither Sandra Barneda nor César Muñoz feel “pressure or” fear. They recognize that it is a challenge, but that there is a crazy desire for this to work. life works during these summer months, a hole can be made for it on the gridiron “Hopefully,” says Sandra Barneda.
The journalist and writer returns to lead a current affairs program, but without leaving her beloved Island of Temptations: “Going back to the present makes me very excited, but I don’t want to leave the reality show either because I love it.”
“It is a very big challenge, but you know that challenges put me. Of course, I take it with all the respect and all the humility and with all the affection that have preceded me,” he says. And he adds: “I really like going back to the present, going back to that point where everything can be changed and you say ‘let’s take the rundown'”.

Sandra Barneda confesses that she was very moved the first day she went up to the newsroom and saw everyone with a smile and getting up.
