Spain Feijóo demands from Sánchez that the amnesty "be subject to the decision of all Spaniards"

The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has demanded this Saturday from the head of the acting Government, Pedro Sánchez, that he “submit to the decision of all Spaniards” his plan to approve an amnesty for the prosecuted Catalan independence leaders, which has attributed to its “convenience”, not to coexistence.

Núñez Feijóo has reacted in this way to the announcement made by Sánchez in the Federal Committee of the PSOE, where practically all of the party leaders have given him a standing ovation.

He accompanied his message on the funny.

“The only thing that has changed is that Pedro Sánchez has lost the elections. If he intends to carry out the amnesty, he should submit it to the decision of all Spaniards and not only to the applause of the officials he himself appointed. It is not coexistence, it is coexistence “, Núñez Feijóo noted in his message.

Sánchez has justified the amnesty in the need to finish normalizing the political situation in Catalonia and to obtain the votes for the investiture, depending on the support of groups such as Junts and ERC that demand amnesty for their prosecuted leaders.

The general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, stated this Saturday that the acting president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, “has bought into the amnesty and says that it is in the name of Spain”, which in his opinion is “false”.

In an appearance from Malaga, Bendodo assured that if Sánchez “had made these statements before the elections” the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, “would be the president of the Government today” since “many socialist activists and voters are not willing to swallow with the amnesty”.

“Today Sánchez has taken off his mask,” said Bendodo, who criticized the acting president for “having swallowed with the amnesty” and reproached him for having done it “in the name of Spain.” “It is false,” he asserted, and insisted that “the majority of Spain is against the amnesty.” In that sense, he regretted that “the reality” is that former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont “has the key and is going to rule” the country.

For his part, the president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, accused this Saturday the head of the acting Government, Pedro Sánchez, of “disguising his corruption by invoking the interest of Spain” and of amnestying “coup politicians in exchange for votes” to stay in power.

“You disguise your corruption by invoking the interest of Spain. You give amnesties to coup politicians in exchange for votes to stay in power. You are the most corrupt president in the History of Spain,” Abascal censored him in a message on the X network (formerly Twitter ).

Abascal has been convinced that “the social majority” will speak tomorrow, Sunday, at the rally called against the amnesty by the Denaes foundation, close to Vox, to “defend the true interest of Spain.”
