Langen (dpa / lhe) – A 73-year-old driver crashed into a tree on federal highway 486 in the Offenbach district and was seriously injured. The man was trapped in his car and the fire department had to free him from his vehicle early Monday morning, police said. The 73-year-old left the road on the route between Offenthal and Langen for reasons that are still unclear. He was taken to a hospital. His car was totaled.
