A Regional Transportation District bus and an SUV got into a little tussle near Havana Street and 47th Avenue in Denver, causing a bit of chaos on Friday morning. The incident left two individuals with some bumps and bruises, with one of them having to take a trip to the hospital. Yup, things were not looking too great for anyone involved.
The crash occurred in the lovely area between Denver’s Montbello and Central Park neighborhoods, leading to the closure of both directions of Havana and westbound 47th. The police came in to save the day at 6:46 a.m., announcing the unfortunate news to the world. According to the RTD spokesperson, Pauline Haberman, there were a driver and two customers on the bus during the time of the incident, but thankfully, none of them ended up with serious injuries. Later in the day, the Denver police revealed that the person who had to make a pit stop at the hospital was actually in the SUV when the crash went down.
